For a graduation party in Brookfield, Wisconsin, Brew City Outdoor Cinema is the premier local provider for outdoor movie screen rentals. They deliver a complete, all-in-one package featuring a giant inflatable screen, HD projector, and streaming hardware within 25 miles of Wauwatosa. This guide covers the local rental landscape, the specific components of inflatable screen packages, and how to plan a successful outdoor cinema experience for your milestone celebration.
Local Rental Companies in the Milwaukee Area
Specialized providers like Brew City Outdoor Cinema focus exclusively on the movie night experience. This specialization ensures that the equipment is maintained for optimal image quality and that the setup process is handled by professionals who understand the nuances of outdoor lighting and sound. For a graduation party, where the atmosphere is as important as the entertainment, a dedicated cinema rental service provides a level of reliability that general party vendors may not match.
Service Area and Delivery Logistics
Delivery logistics are a critical factor when comparing local options. Brew City Outdoor Cinema operates out of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, and includes delivery within a 25-mile radius. This service area comfortably covers Brookfield, ensuring that the equipment arrives on time and is set up correctly before your guests arrive. When evaluating other local companies, it is essential to confirm whether delivery is included in the base price or charged as an additional fee. Some vendors may have smaller service radii or higher delivery costs for locations on the periphery of their coverage area.
Vendor Reliability and Support
Reliability is paramount for a one-time event like a graduation. You need a vendor who can troubleshoot technical issues quickly if they arise. Brew City Outdoor Cinema emphasizes a customer experience focused on support and coordination. They handle the delivery, setup, and pickup, allowing you to focus on celebrating your graduate. When researching other local companies, look for reviews that mention on-time arrival and responsive customer service. A vendor who communicates clearly about setup times and weather policies will save you significant stress on the day of the event.
Inflatable Screen Packages and Equipment
Understanding what is included in a rental package is crucial for budgeting and planning. An inflatable movie screen is a lightweight, portable projection surface that is inflated using a built-in blower. This technology allows for a large viewing area without the need for heavy metal frames or complex assembly. For a graduation party, the size of the screen and the quality of the projection system determine the overall impact of the event.
The Brew City Outdoor Cinema Package
Projection and Streaming Hardware
The quality of the image depends heavily on the projector and the source of the content. The Brew City Outdoor Cinema package includes an HD projector paired with an Apple TV running Plex. This setup provides access to a library of over 6,500 HD movies and live TV channels. Having a built-in streaming service with a vast library eliminates the need for you to bring your own laptop, HDMI cables, or external hard drives. It also ensures that the content is in high definition, providing a crisp and vibrant image on the large inflatable surface.
Audio and Connectivity
Sound is often the most challenging aspect of outdoor movie nights due to wind and ambient noise. The package from Brew City Outdoor Cinema includes a 100W wireless Monster Bluetooth speaker. This high-wattage speaker is designed to cut through outdoor noise and provide clear, immersive audio for the audience. Additionally, the package includes a T-Mobile wireless hotspot with unlimited data. This ensures that the streaming service has a stable and fast internet connection, preventing buffering issues during the movie. Having a dedicated, high-power audio system and reliable internet connectivity is what separates a professional rental package from a basic DIY setup.

Planning Your Graduation Night
Once you have selected your rental provider, the next step is to plan the logistics of the event. A successful outdoor movie night requires attention to timing, location, and guest comfort. By preparing in advance, you can ensure that the technical setup is seamless and that your guests can relax and enjoy the celebration.
Choosing the Right Location
The location of your graduation party will dictate the setup requirements for the screen. If you are hosting the event in a backyard, ensure that you have a flat, clear area for the inflatable screen and a power source for the projector and blower. For larger events at a school or community park, check with the venue management about power availability and any restrictions on inflatable structures. Brew City Outdoor Cinema can coordinate delivery details based on your specific address, helping you navigate any venue-specific requirements.
Timing and Weather Considerations
Outdoor movie nights are best enjoyed in the evening, but the timing of the start is crucial. Brew City Outdoor Cinema offers flexible movie start times ranging from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This flexibility allows you to align the movie start with the sunset or your preferred dinner time. When planning for a graduation in the spring or summer, consider the weather forecast. While the inflatable screen is durable, extreme wind or rain can affect the setup. Having a backup plan, such as a covered area or a rain date, is always wise. The vendor will work with you to coordinate the delivery and setup based on your chosen start time.
Guest Comfort and Amenities
Make your guests comfortable by providing seating and snacks. Blankets, lawn chairs, and cushions are popular choices for outdoor movie nights. You can also set up a snack bar with popcorn, drinks, and other treats. The large screen and high-quality audio from Brew City Outdoor Cinema will keep your guests engaged, but comfortable seating will ensure they stay for the entire movie. Consider the number of guests when planning the seating area, ensuring that everyone has a clear view of the screen.
